Job summary

HDC Electrical & Solar in the Yarra Valley just east of Melbourne is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to own installation quality and provide steady leadership on-site. You will manage residential and commercial solar installations, battery storage integration with brands like Sigenergy, Tesla and BYD, system commissioning, and on-going maintenance work.

Mentoring apprentices in a calm, practical way is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) required.
• CEC Accreditation – Grid-Connect with Battery Storage.
• Experience with battery commissioning.
• Calm, consistent leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Own installation quality and lead on-site across projects.
• Oversee residential and commercial solar installs and battery storage.
• Mentor apprentices and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate commissioning and testing of systems.
