Winki Energy in Torquay is seeking an experienced A-grade electrician to lead our residential install crew. You’ll run the site day to day, manage quality and safety, and mentor apprentices while delivering solar, battery and EV charging systems.

You’ll coordinate daily on materials, sequencing and handover, act as the on-site face for customers, and support future growth into commercial solar. Victorian licence, 3+ years, crew leadership and SAA accreditation are expected; a real career path

Qualifications

• Victorian electrical licence (A-grade) required.
• 3+ years post-trade with solid residential solar experience.
• Experience leading a crew or readiness to step up.
• SAA solar and battery accreditation or willingness to obtain (we’ll support).
• Working knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, 5033, 4777 and 5139; Victorian Service & Installation Rules.
• Current Drivers Licence and full Australian work rights.

Responsabilités

• Lead a small crew of electricians and apprentices on residential solar, battery and EV installs.
• Plan each day on site: materials, sequencing and safety.
• Own quality and compliance: testing, COES, photos and handover.
• Be the face of Winki on site, ensuring customer confidence in the system.
• Conduct fault-finding and switchboard work as needed.
• Coach and develop apprentices and newer installers.
• Ensure OHS is followed on every job, every day.
