HDC Electrical & Solar in the Yarra Valley just east of Melbourne is seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to own installation quality and provide steady leadership on-site. You will manage residential and commercial solar installations, battery storage integration with brands like Sigenergy, Tesla and BYD, system commissioning, and on-going maintenance work.

Mentoring apprentices in a calm, practical way is a key part of the role.

Qualifications

• A-Grade Electrical Licence (Victoria) required.
• CEC Accreditation – Grid-Connect with Battery Storage.
• Experience with battery commissioning.

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced A-Grade Electrician to take ownership of installation quality and provide steady leadership on-site.

This role would suit someone who:

• Prefers structured, well-planned work
• Takes pride in doing the job right the first time
• Enjoys mentoring apprentices in a calm, practical way
• Values consistency over constant change

You will work across:

• Residential and commercial solar installations
• Battery storage systems (Sigenergy, Tesla, GoodWe, Sungrow, BYD, etc.)
• System commissioning and integration
• Select general electrical and maintenance work

With increasing demand for battery installations under the Federal Battery Rebate, we’re looking for someone confident and methodical in commissioning and testing systems.
