Job summary

Journey Early Learning Riverhills is seeking an experienced Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to lead our Nursery Room and guide our team. You will deliver high-quality education and care, create nurturing play-based experiences aligned with the EYLF, and support babies' routines and wellbeing in a warm, collaborative setting.

You'll be a confident leader, mentoring educators, building strong connections with children and families, and partnering with the Centre Leadership Team to achieve positive

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Previous Lead Educator experience, ideally within a Nursery environment.
• Strong understanding of babies' development, individual routines and responsive care.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Completed National Child Safety Training.

About the Role

As our Nursery Lead Educator, you'll:

• Lead, mentor and support your team to deliver high-quality education and care

You'll bring:

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Previous Lead Educator experience, ideally within a Nursery environment
• Strong understanding of babies' development, individual routines and responsive care
• Confidence leading, mentoring and supporting educators
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and play-based learning
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A positive, reliable and collaborative leadership approach
