Job summary

Journey Early Learning Echuca West is seeking a Lead Educator to guide a toddlers environment, lead programming and foster meaningful, play-based learning aligned with children’s interests. Join a supportive Centre Leadership Team and help shape the centre’s culture from the ground up.

You will mentor educators, build strong relationships with families, and ensure safe, inclusive learning spaces while focusing on reflective practice and high-quality EYLF experiences.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential).
• National Child Safety Training + Victorian Child Protection Training.
• Experience as a Lead Educator or ready to step into leadership.
• Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning.
• Passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for children.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is highly regarded.

We’re looking for passionate and confident Lead Educators to joinJourney Early Learning, Echuca West.

About the Role

The role is based in the Toddlers room and Mon - Thurs 9 - 5.30pm

As a Lead Educator, you’ll lead your learning environment, support your team and create engaging, play-based experiences that reflect the interests, strengths and individual needs of each child.

You’ll build strong relationships with children and families, lead programming and documentation, and work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to create a positive, collaborative learning environment.
