Job summary

Benowa Early Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated Lead Educator to guide and mentor a team while delivering a play-based curriculum for babies and toddlers. The role emphasises safety, well-being and strong family partnerships within a supportive setting.

We value professionals with 3–5 years of Early Years experience, Diploma or higher in Childhood Education and Care, and current First Aid, CPR, and Child Safe certifications. A nurturing, long-term career with opportunities for growth awaits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or diploma in early childhood education or ACECQA equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Early Years sector.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates.
• Child Protection and Child Safe Training Certificates.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, safe learning activities for babies and toddlers.
• Uphold National Regulations and National Quality Standards.
• Support daily routines including feeding, napping and play.
• Observe progress and adapt activities to development.
• Build strong relationships with families and colleagues.
