Kool Beanz Academy in Mackay is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to support and lead a team within a warm, home-like setting. You will implement play-based programs aligned with EYLF, build strong partnerships with families and the local community, and help the centre meet National Quality Standards.
We value dedicated educators who are passionate about early childhood development, enjoy team collaboration, and are available Monday to Friday within a 6:30am–6:30pm schedule.
Our centre at Kool Beanz, Bridge Road is conveniently located just moments from Mackay Base Hospital. With dedicated space for up to 52 children aged six weeks to six years, our family-owned and operated centre is designed to provide a warm, home-away-from-home atmosphere for children.
Inside, children can explore thoughtfully designed rooms including a STEM and art space, a cozy library, and inviting classrooms. Outside, our nature-inspired playground features a bird aviary, zen garden and shaded areas for active play, discovery, and quiet reflection, encouraging children to connect with the environment while enjoying every moment.
At Kool Beanz Bridge Road, our dedicated educators nurture social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning, preparing children for school and beyond. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma Qualified, highly motivated Lead Educator who is ready to work Monday to Friday.
This role is a position where using your previous experience as a Lead Educator, you will help to manage and support the team. For us, it's about finding a like-minded individual who is passionate about early childhood education and the developmental needs of children.
