Job summary

Journey Early Learning Kawana is seeking a Diploma-qualified Lead Educator to guide the daily operations of your learning environment, mentor fellow educators and deliver meaningful learning experiences for children.

You'll work with the Centre Leadership Team to foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues, promoting collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement across the centre.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA approved equivalent.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team of educators.
• Strong understanding of EYLF, NQS and National Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the learning environment.
• Mentor and support the educational team to deliver high-quality programs.
• Deliver learning experiences reflecting children's interests, strengths and development.
• Collaborate with Centre Leadership Team and build relationships with children, families and colleagues.

About the Role

As our Lead Educator, you'll be responsible for leading the daily operations of your learning environment, supporting and mentoring your team, and delivering high-quality educational programs that reflect each child's interests, strengths and development.

Working collaboratively with your Centre Leadership Team, you'll foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues while promoting a culture of collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.

About You

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team of educators
• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Regulations
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
• Passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families
