Job summary

Journey Early Learning Kawana is seeking an experienced Lead Educator to guide daily operations, mentor a team of educators and craft play-based programs that reflect each child’s interests and development. You will work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to build strong relationships with families and colleagues, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.

About the Role

As our Lead Educator, you'll be responsible for leading the daily operations of your learning environment, supporting and mentoring your team, and delivering high-quality educational programs that reflect each child's interests, strengths and development.

Working collaboratively with your Centre Leadership Team, you'll foster strong relationships with children, families and colleagues while promoting a culture of collaboration, inclusion and continuous improvement.

About You

• Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• Previous experience leading or mentoring a team of educators
• Strong understanding of the EYLF, NQS and National Regulations
• Hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain)
• Passionate about delivering exceptional outcomes for children and families
