Job summary

Busy Bees Global is seeking a Lead Educator for our Burpengary East centre in Australia. The role is full-time, offering an hourly rate of $36.14 – $41.11. You will lead educational programming aligned with EYLF, mentor a team of Educators, and foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.

The position includes strong community engagement and centre policy compliance. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-equivalent), current First Aid/CPR, and WWVP

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS).
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Burpendgary East, on a full-time basis.

What you'll do

• Lead the planning and implementation of a high-quality educational program aligned with the EYLF
• Inspire and mentor Educators within your room
• Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
• Build strong, collaborative relationships with families and the local community
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and centre policies
• Support children's development, wellbeing, and learning outcomes through engaging play-based experiences

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification
• Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People Registration (WWVP) - Working with Children Check for [QLD, VIC, NSW, SA, WA]
• Demonstrated experience leading a room within an early learning environment
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• A collaborative and supportive leadership style
