Job summary

Children First Early Education in Walkervale QLD is seeking a Permanent Part Time Educator to join our first-class service. Working Monday to Friday up to 37.5 hours per week, you will contribute to an inclusive, safe and engaging learning environment for young children.

The role requires a Diploma in Children’s Services (or studying towards), Blue Card, First Aid, and relevant safety trainings, plus hands-on experience in early childhood and a solid understanding of EYLF and NQF.

Qualifications

• Diploma qualification (or studying towards) in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Blue Card, approved First Aid, National Child Safety (Geccko) Training, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• Sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.
• Prior experience and confidence in leading a classroom setting and mentoring peers.

• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
