Job summary

Geoscience Australia seeks an experienced EL1 Assistant Director to lead the Digital Atlas Platform Enhancement and Sustainment. You will guide geospatial operations, ICT administration, Esri platform sustainment and cloud management across two environments: Digital Atlas for Government and Public.

The role requires strong leadership of both APS and contractor teams to deliver secure, user-centered services at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience in leading ICT administration and digital platform sustainment.
• Strong knowledge of Esri ArcGIS enterprise and online capabilities.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary ICT/Geospatial teams in a secure government environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment and enhancement of the Digital Atlas platforms across Government and Public environments.
• Provide leadership across geospatial operations, ICT administration and security operations.
• Manage a multidisciplinary APS and contractor workforce; set priorities and drive delivery.
• Coordinate procurement, contract and financial management activities.
