Job summary

Geoscience Australia seeks an Assistant Director to lead the Digital Atlas Strategy & Engagement. You will shape how government, partners and users interact with the platform, translating updates into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.

You will strengthen relationships across government and industry, develop stakeholder-ready materials, and provide senior-level strategic communications guidance to protect the Digital Atlas and GA reputation.

Qualifications

• Required skills, knowledge and/or qualifications for senior communications, marketing, program management or related discipline.
• Advanced, user-centric writing and content design for diverse audiences and channels.
• Strong knowledge of government delivery governance including planning and reporting, and procurement management.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership across multidisciplinary teams within the Digital Atlas Directorate.
• Lead Digital Atlas communications and engagement activities across channels and formats.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Communications, external agencies and industry teams to align messaging and approvals.
