Job summary

ASX is seeking a Senior Engineer – DevOps & Platform Engineering to design and evolve the engineering platforms that underpin the Equities Trading Technology ecosystem. You will lead DevOps practices, enabling secure, reliable and automated delivery across development, testing and operations teams.

The role emphasizes platform enablement over infrastructure administration, with a focus on automation, observability and reusable tooling to improve delivery quality and developer productivity.

Qualifications

Senior Engineer responsible for designing, building and evolving engineering platforms and tooling.
Role acts as the technical lead for DevOps practices within the domain.
Focus on automation, standardisation and platform engineering principles.

Responsibilities

Act as the technical lead for DevOps and Platform Engineering within Equities Trading Technology.
Define tooling strategies and automation roadmaps.
Promote platform engineering principles to enhance developer experience and self-service delivery.
Design, implement and maintain modern CI/CD deployment pipelines.
Build Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and reusable modules.
Design monitoring, logging and alerting capabilities for reliability.
