Job summary

Hitech Asia Pacific is seeking a Lead Data Engineer for a Federal Government program delivering earth observation and data analytics capabilities. The role focuses on designing, building and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms and automated pipelines in cloud environments.

You will lead technical efforts, drive engineering best practices, and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams while operating under a hybrid working arrangement with a 12-month contract and extension potential.

Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer to join a high-profile Federal Government program supporting the delivery of nationally significant earth observation and data analytics capabilities. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing and maintaining enterprise-scale data platforms, cloud infrastructure and automated data pipelines that support critical scientific and operational outcomes.
