Job summary

AI Talent in Sydney seeks an experienced Cyber Security Architect to lead enterprise security design and implementation. You will shape security architecture, govern risk, and drive secure-by-design practices across infrastructure, applications, data, and cloud platforms.

Strong expertise in NIST/ISO 27001, Zero Trust, and threat modelling is required, with collaboration across DevOps and cloud architects to embed security in SDLC and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 5+ years in cyber security with 2–3 years in security architecture or design roles.
• Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, cloud security and endpoint protection.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise security architecture across infra, apps, data, identity, and cloud.
• Perform risk analysis, threat modelling, and security assessments during solution design.
• Define security reference architectures and ensure adherence to NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls and Zero Trust.
• Oversee integration of security tools (SIEM, EDR, CASB, IAM, firewalls) across layers.
• Collaborate with engineers to embed security-by-design in SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
