Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Domain Security Architect for Infrastructure and Networks in a hybrid Sydney-based role. You will shape cyber strategy and lead the security architecture for servers, networks and data centre platforms, aligning to enterprise security standards and regulatory requirements.

You will collaborate with Infrastructure & Operations, Network Services and Cyber Defence teams to deliver practical architecture, segmentation, zero trust and secure administration

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cyber security or infrastructure security roles with leadership of security architecture for a technology domain.
• Deep hands-on architecture experience in networks with broad exposure to at least one other area (compute/OS, virtualization, enterprise services, cloud infra).
• Experience defining and delivering a security strategy or roadmap with backlog prioritisation and measurable risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security strategy, target state and multi‑year roadmap for infrastructure and networks.
• Own security architecture for servers, virtualization, and network platforms (Cisco, firewalls, F5, VMware).
• Define segmentation and zero trust architecture including macro/micro-segmentation and secure admin patterns.
