Job summary

Mountain Heritage in New South Wales is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen brigade with world class facilities. Reporting to the Head Chef, the role will create memorable dining experiences, with consistency in flavour and a variety of offerings.

We are building a destination fine dining restaurant for hotel guests and the public, and you will inspire the team to deliver high-quality meals while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead a kitchen brigade.
• Positive attitude and willingness to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently running a cooking section in-line with company standards.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of interesting and popular menu ideas.
• Inspire and energise the team to be the best they can be.
• Follow policies and procedures at all times.
• Maintain strong relations, internally and externally.
• Consistently deliver high-quality meals.
• Ensure kitchen equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Follow WH&S compliance at all times.
