Job summary

Mountain Heritage in Katoomba is seeking a skilled Cook to join our kitchen brigade and elevate the dining experience for hotel guests and the public.

Reporting to the Head Chef, you will manage a cooking section, contribute creative menu ideas, and lead a team to deliver consistently high-quality meals in a destination fine dining setting.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead and influence a kitchen brigade.

Mountain Heritage has a rich history in Katoomba and as new owners we want to take the dining experience to the next level by creating a destination fine dining restaurant for hotel guests and the public.

We are looking for someone who will be responsible for:

We Are Looking For a Cook Who

• Has a high level of personal morale and appearance.

• Food Handling Certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent experience in a similar role with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• You will have the ability to lead and influence a kitchen brigade.
