Job summary

Pensar in Brisbane is seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to lead contract administration on major infrastructure projects. You will drive commercial outcomes, manage contractual risk, and support delivery across our project portfolio.

This role demands strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ownership from award to close-out and a focus on continuous improvement in governance and processes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in contract administration, commercial management or a similar role within the infrastructure, engineering or construction sectors.
• A strong understanding of complex contracting environments and commercial project delivery.
• Experience working on multidisciplinary infrastructure or construction projects.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Project Managers and delivery teams to provide strategic commercial guidance across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Take ownership of contract administration activities from project award through to completion and close-out.
• Support the management of contractual risk by identifying opportunities, addressing challenges early and implementing practical solutions.
• Lead the preparation and assessment of contract variations, claims and entitlement submissions.
• Work closely with clients, subcontractors and suppliers to build productive relationships and achieve positive outcomes.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting activities to support informed business decisions.
• Assist in resolving commercial issues and contractual disputes in a timely and professional manner.
• Coach and support developing commercial professionals, helping build capability across the wider project team.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes and commercial governance across the business.
