Aurecon Group is seeking a Lead Contaminated Land Scientist/Engineer in Queensland. You will lead contaminated land projects, coordinate fieldwork, and deliver assessments to ASC NEPM standards while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

You will shape client solutions and drive practical outcomes, fostering sustainable and innovative approaches in audit-ready reports and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Qualified in environmental engineering or science with contaminated land experience.
• Experience delivering contaminated land and/or groundwater investigations, management and remediation.
• Commitment to health and safety for self and team.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage and deliver large contaminated land projects.
• Coordinate fieldwork campaigns including sampling and drilling oversight.
• Prepare high-quality assessments to ASC NEPM requirements and editorial standards.
• Proposal and project management of contaminated land projects.
• Advise clients on complex challenges and strategy.
