A Melbourne-based builder is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a multi-unit apartment and associated commercial projects in South East Melbourne. The role requires a proven track record managing D&C projects from 10 to 30 million, strong leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

You will oversee the project team, coordinate trades and suppliers, manage budgets, OH&S, and client relationships, and report progress to the Construction Manager in a dynamic,

Qualifications

• Building related degree or trade background.
• Proven history as Project Manager on D&C Commercial and Domestic projects 10–30 million.
• Proficient with project management software.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong leadership and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Comprehend complex documents and identify risks.
• Lead constructability reviews and mitigation plans.
• Establish a cohesive project team with defined responsibilities.
• Manage construction program and amend as required.
• Prepare quality short and long term program.
• Support site staff in scheduling and coordination of trades.
• Oversee Contracts Administration team and budget ownership.
• Ensure OH&S compliance and client relationship management.
• Report to Construction Manager and track progress against budget and schedule.
• Liaise with consultants & subcontractors and chair PCG meetings.
