Job summary

One Solution Building Services Pty Ltd in Queensland is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the State’s Supervision team and oversee the insurance repair portfolio. This hands-on leadership role balances people leadership with practical operational involvement, ensuring high quality and compliant outcomes.

You will drive performance, oversee project delivery, and maintain strong insurer and stakeholder relationships across Queensland, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and developing Supervisors or construction teams.
• Strong residential construction knowledge.
• Insurance repair experience preferred.
• QBCC Supervisor Licence or eligibility to obtain one.
• Solid understanding of quality, safety and construction compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop the Qld Supervision team.
• Drive team performance with a positive culture.
• Oversee delivery of insurance repair projects across the team.
• Monitor job progress, quality, timelines and operational performance.
• Support the implementation and continual improvement of systems and processes.
• Provide guidance on complex or challenging jobs.
• Step in operationally when required to support the team.
• Maintain relationships with insurers, customers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Assist with subcontractor performance and trade network development.
• Set performance expectations and coach regularly.
• Ensure safety, quality, ethics and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records in job management systems.
