Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council in Rockhampton is seeking a hands-on leader to head a crew delivering essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will coordinate construction and maintenance activities, drive high‑quality workmanship and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

This role requires a proven track record in concrete construction and strong leadership.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in structural concrete construction, including form setting and steel reinforcement placement.
Concrete finishing experience with exposed aggregate essential.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Strong leadership with ability to motivate and coordinate a crew for safe, efficient outcomes.
Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to prioritise workloads.

Responsibilities

Lead and inspire a crew delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
