Job summary

Forbes Shire Council is seeking a Lead Concreter to join the Civil Construction Crew in the Engineering Department. You will lead expert concreting activities, plan formwork, design plans and execute concreting, kerb and guttering, paving, and related works while mentoring and upskilling the team.

You will drive continuous improvement with new technologies and work planning, reporting to the Supervisor Construction and Maintenance. A dynamic community-focused role in Forbes, NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience leading concreting works on civil projects.
• Proven mentoring and upskilling of team leaders and operators.
• Knowledge of formwork, design plans and execution of concreting, kerb and guttering, paving.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver expert concreting work as part of the Civil Construction Crew.
• Plan, formwork and execute concreting projects, including kerb and guttering and paving.
• Mentor and upskill Council team leaders and operators in civil concreting.
• Drive continuous improvement and adoption of innovative technologies and practices.
