Job summary
Healthcare Australia is seeking a Complex Case Manager in Melbourne to lead a team coordinating healthcare, mental health and wellbeing services for detainees under Residence Determination.
You will oversee complex cases, guide clinical and wellbeing risk management, and ensure services meet Australian health standards while delivering person-centred care with strong leadership and stakeholder collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Social Work, Healthcare Management or related field.
- At least five years' experience in case management, healthcare coordination or related field.
- Experience in immigration detention services highly regarded.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of case managers to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
- Oversee complex case assessments, triage and care planning with timely intervention.
- Coordinate primary care, mental health and specialist services, including crisis response and wellbeing initiatives.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations, maintaining documentation and reporting.
