Job summary

Proclinical in Australia is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of clinical trials, ensuring quality, compliance with GCP/SOPs, and on-time delivery. You will lead a small team, coordinate sponsors, CROs and study teams, and drive trial milestones.

With tertiary health or biological sciences qualification, you will apply strong organizational and communication skills, mentor staff, and continuously improve trial management processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical trials, preferably in early-phase studies.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, ICH guidelines, and NHMRC frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management and written/verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team development abilities.
• Proficient with clinical trial management IT systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage clinical trials to meet sponsor and protocol requirements within agreed timelines.
• Develop project plans, track milestones, and ensure achievement of objectives.
• Ensure trial execution aligns with regulations, GCP, and SOPs.
• Facilitate collaboration between sponsors, CROs, and study teams.
• Define stakeholder responsibilities, study requirements, and milestones.
• Support continuous improvement of trial management processes and tools.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a clinical trial team to high performance.
• Provide training and empower team members to take ownership.
• Monitor team performance and coach for successful delivery.
