Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking a casual Civil/Structural Engineering Lead for the Port Inload Shed project, based at our West Perth office near City West station. You will guide design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover, ensuring safety, compliance and cost-effective delivery in a cyclonic port environment.

Reporting to the Delivery Lead - Port, you will coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, review technical deliverables, manage risks, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Experience delivering heavy industrial, mining, port or bulk materials handling projects.
• Experience in cyclonic or corrosive coastal environments.
• Strong capability across structural steel, reinforced concrete, foundations, drainage.
• Ability to manage consultants, contractors and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality, environment and operations; willing to travel and hold a C Class licence and White Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering delivery for the Port Inload Shed and infrastructure across design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders to meet scope, schedule, quality, compliance and budget.
• Review and manage technical deliverables, drawings, design reviews, RFIs, field changes and as-built documentation.
• Ensure designs and construction activities are safe, compliant, constructable and fit for purpose in cyclonic port environments.
• Provide safety leadership; support risk reviews and contractor compliance with HSE plans and Life Saving Rules.
• Prepare engineering plans, reports, recommendations and decision papers supporting procurement and handover.
