Job summary

Worley in Perth is seeking a Senior Marine Structures Engineer to join our Ports & Marine team. You will contribute to planning, design and delivery of marine and port projects across Australia and internationally, collaborating with structural, civil, geotechnical and coastal specialists.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 9–12 years of relevant industry experience in marine structures engineering.
• Experience delivering marine infrastructure projects, especially in ports and major infrastructure environments.
• Strong knowledge of marine structures design and engineering principles.
• Experience across concept, feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Understanding of coastal, metocean and mooring analysis for marine projects.
• Strong communication and coordination skills in multidisciplinary teams.
• Chartered status or progression toward accreditation is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver marine structures projects across feasibility, concept, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Design and assess maritime infrastructure including wharves, jetties, berths and quay walls.
• Apply coastal, metocean and mooring engineering principles to project delivery.
• Contribute to major ports, marine and infrastructure projects through technical studies.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, civil, geotechnical and coastal specialists.
• Support project planning, scheduling, QA and technical delivery requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, design docs and client deliverables.
• Develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
