Terra Civil Pty Ltd in Western Sydney is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing civil team with an immediate start available. You will assist with planning, coordination and delivery of subdivisions and bulk earthworks, working closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors and consultants.

The successful candidate will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, while coordinating subcontractors, RFIs and site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and relevant construction experience.
• Strong planning, coordination and time-management skills.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors, RFIs and site activities.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring projects from conception through to completion and handover.
• Support the Project Manager and Site Supervisor with day-to-day site operations and project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and construction teams to meet project requirements.
• Liaise with design consultants and manage RFIs to resolve design and construction issues.
• Implement and monitor Health, Safety, Environment and Quality management systems.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, site safety requirements and SWMS.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will assist with the planning, coordination and delivery of civil construction projects, with a particular focus on subdivisions and bulk earthworks. Working closely with the Project Manager, Site Supervisors, Compliance Manager, Subcontractors and Consultants. You will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to the required quality standards and within budget and program requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in planning, coordinating and monitoring projects from initial conception through to completion and handover.
• Support the Project Manager and Site Supervisor with day-to-day site operations, construction activities and project delivery.
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and construction teams to ensure works are completed in accordance with project requirements.
• Liaise with design consultants, manage Requests for Information (RFIs) and assist with resolving design and construction issues.
• Implement and monitor site Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management systems.
• Ensure workers and subcontractors comply with company policies, site safety requirements and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
• Prepare and conduct site inductions, maintaining accurate induction records.
• Conduct regular environmental inspections and ensure environmental management requirements are met.
• Prepare, review and maintain quality assurance documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), lot packages and quality reports.
• Maintain accurate site records, including concrete pour dockets, crack mapping and dilapidation reports.
• Coordinate inspections, book witness and hold points, and ensure required approvals are obtained.
• Obtain and assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, prepare cost comparisons and report recommendations to the Project Manager.
• Measure, quantify and procure materials required for construction works.
• Collect delivery dockets and maintain accurate cost-tracking records.
• Assist with subcontractor agreements, work scheduling and coordination of trades, including kerb and gutter and asphalt crews.
• Monitor project progress, quality, costs and compliance with project specifications and construction programs.

ABOUT YOU

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in the civil construction industry, in subdivisions and bulk earthworks.
• A Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• A valid General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work effectively within a team.
• The ability to coordinate subcontractors, manage competing priorities and meet project deadlines.
• A strong commitment to workplace health, safety, environmental management and quality.
• A punctual, reliable and professional attitude.
