Respect Group in Inverell, New South Wales, is seeking an experienced Chef Supervisor to lead our kitchen at McLean Gardens.

You will supervise daily operations, mentor kitchen staff, ensure nutritious meals meet dietary requirements, and uphold food safety standards, WHS, and resident dining experiences.

This leadership role offers meaningful work in aged care with opportunities to contribute to menu planning and quality of service.

Formación

• Trade qualification as a Chef.
• Experience in a Chef Supervisor or similar leadership role.
• Experience in aged care is highly regarded.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and WHS requirements.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
• Lead, mentor and support kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food service.
• Prepare and oversee nutritious meals that meet the individual needs and preferences of our residents.
• Ensure food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Support menu planning and ensure meals are prepared according to established menus and dietary requirements.
• Manage food preparation, cooking and presentation to a high standard.
• Assist with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation.
• Monitor food quality, portion sizes and presentation.
• Work collaboratively with care staff to ensure residents’ dietary and nutritional needs are met.
• Maintain accurate kitchen records and documentation.
• Promote a positive, respectful and collaborative kitchen environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve kitchen processes and the resident dining experience.
