Respect in Inverell, NSW seeks an experienced Chef Supervisor to lead our kitchen at McLean Gardens. You will manage daily kitchen operations, prepare nutritious meals, and work with care staff to meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

You will drive food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance while mentoring kitchen staff, planning menus, and maintaining quality service that enhances residents’ dining experience.

Formación

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and allergen management.
• Experience in leading kitchen operations and staff scheduling.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Effective communication within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise and support day-to-day kitchen operations.
• Lead, mentor and support kitchen staff to deliver high-quality meals.
• Prepare nutritious meals meeting residents’ dietary needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirements.
• Assist with menu planning and dietary adherence.
• Manage stock, ordering and kitchen organisation.
• Monitor quality, portions and presentation.
• Collaborate with care staff to meet residents’ nutritional needs.
• Maintain accurate kitchen records and documentation.
• Foster a positive, respectful kitchen environment.
