Job summary

Salonika in Lorne is seeking a hands-on Chef De Partie to join a small, family-run kitchen. You will supervise a section, help prepare and cook dishes, and uphold high standards in presentation and food safety in a busy open kitchen.

This full-time, onsite role requires leadership, reliable teamwork, and the ability to collaborate with the Head Chef on menu ideas while delivering a consistent, delicious pizza and seasonal a la carte items.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified chef with at least 2 years in a culinary leadership role.
• Adaptable, organised and professional with attention to detail.
• Experience cooking pizza and a la carte seasonal menu items.
• Strong leadership, communication and team-building abilities.
• High standards in food quality, consistency and presentation.
• Experience with hand-stretched pizza, dough production and dough management.
• Able to work in a busy open kitchen with safe food handling and hygiene.
