Skilled Jobs Australia seeks chefs for a well-established hotel chain in metropolitan Melbourne. The role is permanent, full-time, and based in Fitzroy, VIC, with duties spanning from cooking to staff training.

Candidate should have AQF Diploma in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) or equivalent and 2+ years in a similar role, or 3+ years in a similar role. Weekend work and rostered shifts are required.

Mansioni

• Prepare, cook and present dishes as per standards.
• Create menus with flair considering stock, season and patron preferences.
• Deliver dishes to meet patron expectations and satisfaction.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to manage costs.
• Monitor food preservation and rotation to minimize wastage.
• Assist and train kitchen staff on dish prep and ingredients and aid in staff selection.
