Elenika & Co in Malvern East is seeking a Chef to join our Greek eatery on a full‑time basis. You will plan and prepare Greek and Mediterranean dishes, including charcoal‑grilled meats, seafood and banquet meals, ensuring high quality, presentation and safety.

The role requires 1+ year in a commercial kitchen, strong menu planning, teamwork and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Join a supportive kitchen team delivering dine‑in, takeaway and catering.

Formación

• Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or a related discipline.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong menu planning, food preparation, cooking and kitchen coordination skills.
• Ability to consistently maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Good organisational and time‑management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a busy restaurant environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Experience with Greek or Mediterranean cuisine, charcoal grilling and banquet service will be highly regarded.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required.

Responsabilidades

• Plan menus and develop or refine dishes in consultation with management, considering seasonal produce and service requirements.
• Estimate food and labour needs, monitor costs, and assist with ordering and stock control.
• Inspect ingredients for quality, freshness and suitability before preparation.
• Prepare and cook Greek and Mediterranean dishes, including grills, seafood, meze and banquet meals.
• Monitor cooking processes, portions, plating and presentation for consistency.
• Prepare dishes for special dietary requirements and manage allergen requests.
• Supervise kitchen staff, allocate duties and provide guidance on methods and presentation.
• Coordinate with management and front‑of‑house on menu requirements and customer feedback.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and train kitchen staff as needed.
• Maintain food storage, rotation, temperature control and cleanliness per safety rules.
• Coordinate dine‑in, takeaway and catering orders.
