Job summary

Core Talent is seeking a Leading Hand Carpenter for high-end residential projects in the Southern Highlands. You will lead carpenters and apprentices on site, coordinating trades and maintaining exceptional workmanship.

Under the Site Manager, you will assist with programming, read architectural drawings, and guide projects through the full construction lifecycle, with clear progression toward Foreman or Site Supervisor roles.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Carpentry required.
• Experience in high-end residential construction.
• Experience supervising Carpenters and Apprentices.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Desire to progress to Foreman or Site Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and work with Carpenters and Apprentices on site.
• Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and finishes.
• Assist with programming and day-to-day site coordination.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Support projects through full construction lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with Site Managers and project team.
