Lanson Partners, on behalf of a leading Australian organisation in Sydney, seeks a Senior Business Analyst to join the Customer portfolio within Technology & Digital. You will own business analysis across Salesforce-based initiatives, integrations and broader digital projects.

Responsibilities include defining functional and data requirements, developing business cases, and guiding solutions through testing and delivery.

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead BA on technology/digital programs.
• Ability to autonomously challenge stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving with a commercial, solutions-focused mindset.
• Experience defining functional and data requirements and developing business cases.
• Experience supporting delivery through testing and implementation.
• Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM/portal platforms.

Our client, a leading Australian organisation, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join the Customer portfolio within its Technology & Digital function. The portfolio supports a range of technology and digital transformation initiatives across the business.

Salesforce is the primary platform, with projects spanning customer engagement portals, system integrations and broader digital enhancements. The portfolio also includes website upgrades, SharePoint migrations and other enterprise technology initiatives, along with emerging work in AI and automation, including AI-assisted case management.

$185,000 + super + bonus

You will work closely with a Senior IT Project Manager, Process Analyst, Solution Architect and wider team, owning business analysis and helping shape solutions from initial problem definition through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own business analysis across the portfolio, shaping solutions from problem definition through to delivery
• Engage a broad range of stakeholders to understand business challenges and get to the root cause, challenging assumptions where appropriate
• Define functional and data requirements for Salesforce-based and wider enterprise solutions
• Develop business cases that articulate commercial value and support investment decisions
• Support solutions through testing and implementation
• Contribute to AI and automation initiatives, including AI-assisted case management
• Support integrations with enterprise platforms such as SAP and GIS
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Process Analyst and team

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Business Analyst on technology and digital transformation programs
• Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously and to challenge stakeholders constructively
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a commercial, solutions-focused mindset rather than a requirements-gathering approach
• Experience defining functional and data requirements and developing business cases
• Experience supporting delivery through testing and implementation
• Exposure to Salesforce or similar CRM and portal platforms (highly regarded)
• Experience with system integrations, such as SAP or GIS (desirable)
• Interest in or exposure to AI and automation use cases (desirable)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
