NGARE EMPLOYMENT SOLUTIONS PTY LTD in Cairns, Queensland is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisors to join a major infrastructure project in the Cairns region on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster. You will lead high-performing crews, oversee daily earthworks operations, and drive safety and quality on site.

The role requires interpreting plans, coordinating with engineers and subcontractors, and maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks, civil construction, mining, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Understanding of earthmoving equipment, site operations, and construction methodologies.
• Ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to safety and productive work environment.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate bulk earthworks activities across the site.
• Lead and mentor operators, labourers, subcontractors, and site crews.
• Ensure works meet project schedules and specifications.
• Monitor productivity and resource utilisation for performance.
• Promote a strong safety culture across all site activities.
• Conduct pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
• Manage compliance with environmental, quality, and safety requirements.
• Liaise with project engineers, construction managers, and subcontractors.
