Job summary

BESIX Watpac, Adelaide, seeks an experienced Services Manager to lead design, coordination, installation and commissioning of building services on a large-scale project.

You will drive safety policies, manage mechanical, electrical, security, ICT and hydraulic packages, and partner with the Project Manager to meet specifications, budgets and programme while leading subcontractors and coordinating teams.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical or hydraulic) together with solid industry experience.
• Experience managing large-scale projects and complex building services packages (MEP/ICT/hydraulic).
• Experience leading integrated building services systems.
• Familiarity with statutory legislation including OHS Act, Building Code of Australia and relevant Australian Standards.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive company safety policies and OH&S compliance at all times.
• Manage the design of Building Services documentation packages across Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT and Hydraulic.
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure documentation meets specifications, budget and programme.
• Oversee coordination and review documenting adequacy of design input.
• Participate in subcontractor selection.
• Monitor progress and quality of services installation and commissioning, and support project handover.
