BESIX Watpac is recruiting an experienced Services Manager to oversee the design, coordination, installation and commissioning of building services on a large-scale project in Victoria. You will lead the technical team to deliver compliant solutions on time and within budget.

Working closely with the Project Manager, you will manage Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT and Hydraulic packages, review documentation, coordinate subcontractors and support handover with a strong focus on OH&S

Qualifications

• Qualifications in a relevant Engineering discipline and solid industry experience.
• Experience on large-scale building services packages (mechanical, electrical, ICT, hydraulic).
• Experience managing complex integrated systems.
• Knowledge of the OHS Act and Building Code of Australia.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively drive company safety policies, practices and procedures in compliance with OH&S legislation to provide a safe workplace at all times.
• Manage the design of Building Services documentation packages across the project, including Mechanical, Electrical, Security, ICT and Hydraulic.
• Work with the Project Manager to ensure documentation meets specification, cost budgets and programme.
• Oversee coordination and review all documentation for adequacy of design input.
• Participate in the selection of subcontractors.
• Monitor progress and quality of services installation and commissioning, and participate in final handover of the project.
