Job summary

ManpowerGroup in Canberra is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead building, construction and infrastructure initiatives that improve workplace facilities, safety and visitor experiences. You will manage projects from start to finish, including planning, procurement, budgeting, contract management, risk assessment and governance, with a focus on safety, government compliance and on-time delivery.

The role requires Australian Citizenship, Baseline Security Clearance and WWVP

Qualifications

• Experience managing building, construction, infrastructure or facilities projects.
• Strong project management and procurement skills.
• Experience with budgets, timelines and risks.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage building, infrastructure and facilities projects through the full project lifecycle.
• Develop project plans, business cases, budgets and timelines.
• Lead procurement activities, including tenders and contractor engagement.
• Manage contracts and ensure compliance with government policies and regulations.
• Monitor project risks, budgets and project performance.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on construction, asset improvement and facilities projects.
• Prepare reports, briefs and project documentation.
• Support continuous improvement, governance and project planning activities.
• Supervise and support members of the Building Projects team.
