Job summary

AECOM Australia Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Project Design Leader to drive Building Engineering projects in a hybrid Perth-based role. You will lead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, structural and hydraulic disciplines, coordinating design and project management to meet client and programme objectives.

The role requires a strong background in Building Engineering, with leadership and client engagement skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects.

Qualifications

• 12+ years’ experience in Building Engineering.
• Chartered status or professional qualification is highly regarded.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing design & project management.
• Strong client and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, multidisciplinary Building Engineering projects from inception to delivery.
• Collaborate with clients to interpret requirements and develop solutions.
• Define scope, coordinate inputs, manage interfaces and lead design reviews.
• Oversee programme, financial governance, resourcing, and change management.
• Build relationships with clients and stakeholders and support opportunities for growth.
