Job summary

Blue Mountains Library seeks an enthusiastic Team Leader to guide a dedicated team in a busy public library environment. You will supervise staff, coordinate daily operations and deliver high-quality, customer-focused library services.

The successful candidate will foster a collaborative culture, build strong relationships with customers, stakeholders and the wider community, and ensure safety and compliance in line with WHS and EEO principles.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Library/Information Studies or associated field.
• Ability to lead and supervise a team with initiative, flexibility, enthusiasm, and high-level teamwork skills.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating day-to-day operations.
• Strong customer focus and commitment to excellence in customer service.
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and attention to detail.
• Experience with library-based technology and public access technology.
• Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to Work Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity principles.
