Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Lead Developer to spearhead the design, development and operation of secure, scalable backend services and APIs powering web, portal and mobile applications. In a hands-on technical leadership role, you’ll connect digital channels with enterprise systems, including Salesforce and MuleSoft integrations, while guiding engineering standards and mentoring developers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design, development and delivery of enterprise backend services and API platforms.
• Strong expertise in Golang, GraphQL, API architecture and authentication/authorisation patterns.
• Experience operating cloud-native apps with Kubernetes and AWS (EKS).
• Experience establishing engineering standards, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and evolution of the NDIA consumer API platform for web, portal and mobile apps.
• Define and maintain technical architecture, API standards and engineering practices for backend services.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to backend developers.
• Collaborate with Salesforce, MuleSoft, frontend and platform teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive AI-assisted development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and platform automation.
• Contribute to platform reliability, security and operational excellence across AWS, Kubernetes and Cloudflare environments.
• Support governance, architecture reviews and tech decision-making for maintainable, secure and scalable solutions.
