Job summary

DFP Recruitment is seeking a Lead Developer to head the design, development and operation of secure, scalable backend services and APIs powering web, portal and mobile apps. You will guide technical decisions, set engineering standards and mentor developers while championing AI-assisted development and CI/CD in a cloud-native environment.

In this role you will lead the NDIA consumer API platform, collaborate with Salesforce and MuleSoft teams, and drive reliability, security and governance

Qualifications

• Experience leading the design and delivery of enterprise-scale backend services.
• Deep expertise in Golang, GraphQL, API architecture and service-to-service auth.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures on AWS and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and evolution of the NDIA consumer API platform for web, portal and mobile apps.
• Define and maintain technical architecture, API standards and engineering practices.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring and guidance to backend developers.
• Collaborate with Salesforce, MuleSoft, frontend and platform teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive AI-assisted development, automated testing, CI/CD, observability and platform automation.
• Contribute to platform reliability, security and operational excellence across AWS, Kubernetes and Cloudflare.
• Support governance activities, architecture reviews and technology decision-making.
