Job summary

DFP Recruitment seeks a Lead Developer to head backend services and API platforms powering web, portal and mobile apps. You will lead design decisions, set engineering standards and mentor developers, with a focus on secure, scalable solutions across AWS, Kubernetes and Cloudflare.

You’ll champion AI-assisted development, automated testing, and CI/CD while collaborating with Salesforce, MuleSoft and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the design, development and delivery of enterprise-scale backend services and API platforms.
• Strong Golang and GraphQL expertise and API authentication/authorisation patterns.
• Cloud-native apps using Kubernetes and AWS (EKS).
• Experience establishing engineering standards, code review, automated testing and CI/CD governance.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted software engineering tools to accelerate delivery.
• Ability to lead, mentor and uplift engineering teams with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and evolution of the NDIA consumer API platform for web, portals and mobile apps.
• Define and maintain technical architecture, API standards and practices with modern frameworks.
• Mentor backend developers to achieve high-quality outcomes and uplift capabilities.
• Collaborate with Salesforce, MuleSoft, frontend and platform teams for end-to-end solutions.
• Drive modern software engineering practices, AI-assisted development, CI/CD, observability and automation.
• Protect platform reliability, security and operational excellence across AWS, Kubernetes and Cloudflare.
