Job summary

NDIA OCIO is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to lead test automation across new ICT programs for the National Disability Insurance Scheme. You will establish automation approaches, integrate tests with Scrum and build processes, and uplift legacy testing through automation and DevOps adoption.

The role emphasizes designing robust automation frameworks, setting coding standards, and driving continuous improvement while collaborating with the Test Manager and agile teams.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks with a focus on accessibility.
• Ability to lead automation strategy and framework selection across multiple projects.
• Proven track record of integrating automated tests into Scrum/DevOps pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and recommend test automation technologies and framework choices.
• Design, implement and maintain automation frameworks for backend and UI tests.
• Set coding standards for automated tests and ensure maintainability.
• Deliver automated tests in Sprint cycles and meet acceptance criteria.
• Write tests and supporting automation code for new capabilities.
• Lead ongoing improvements to automation practices and tooling.
