Job summary

Reserve Bank of Australia is seeking a Lead Architect to provide architectural governance and co-ordination for the CoreMod data centre modernisation program. You will ensure decisions, dependencies and technical debt are managed in line with enterprise standards and strategy.

The role requires expertise in infrastructure technologies, strong stakeholder engagement, and experience in large programs with TOGAF qualifications.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of infrastructure technologies including enterprise networking/compute/storage and a range of virtualization technologies.
• Experience resolving solution design/contentions with stakeholders.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working with integration partners/vendors in large programs.
• Qualifications relevant to banking/IT industry, including TOGAF and domain certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural governance across the CoreMod program, aligning with enterprise standards.
• Identify, document, and manage architecture dependencies and risks.
• Coordinate Day 2 operations, backlog and remediation of technical debt.
• Facilitate architectural decisions and design direction across CoreMod workstreams.
• Coordinate certification artefacts and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
