Job summary

IRT Tarrawanna is seeking a motivated individual for a Laundry role in our aged care community. This part-time position covers 24 hours per week, with shifts Monday to Wednesday (9:30am to 3pm). You will help with laundry, cleaning, meal support, and delivering meals to residents while maintaining food safety standards.

We value empathy, strong customer service, and reliability. Previous hospitality or laundry experience is desirable, and a health/aged care background is a plus.

About the Role

IRT Tarawanna is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual in a Laundry role! If you have a passion for delivering high‑quality laundry services and want to be part of a supportive and dedicated team, we'd love to hear from you!

This is a Part Time opportunity and offers laundry shifts across 24 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday (9:30am to 3pm)

Your work may include:

• Helping with various domestic duties such as laundry and cleaning of general areas


• Working with catering staff to assist with basic meal preparation


• Delivering and serving meals to our residents


• Adhering to strict food safety guidelines


• Interacting with residents and creating meaningful customer relationships

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Experience delivering hospitality or laundry services (desirable)


• A big heart – an empathetic approach and strong customer service skills


• Experience in a similar role in a health or aged care setting (desirable)


• Food Safety Supervision Certification (desirable)


• Availability to work a range of shifts'
