Job summary

IRT Moruya is seeking dedicated Aged Care Employees to support residents' physical and emotional wellbeing. The roles are permanent part-time ACE positions with schedules including Wednesday and Friday shifts, plus Monday and Wednesday evening slots.

You will assist with daily living activities, medication support, and help residents engage in social activities to enhance quality of life. This is a rewarding role in a compassionate community setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Support (or equivalent).
• Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector.
• Demonstrates empathy, adaptability and a passion for supporting older Australians.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities and personal care.
• Support residents' mobility, medication assistance and wound care.
• Encourage participation in lifestyle and social activities.

About the Role

As an Aged Care Employee at IRT Moruya, you'll directly support our residents' physical and emotional wellbeing and overall quality of life. Your personalised care and empathetic companionship will truly make a positive impact on their lives. It really is a highly rewarding role!

We currently have two Permanent Part-Time Aged Care Employee (ACE) positions available.

Wednesdays from 7:00am to 3:00pm and Friday 6:30am to 2:00pm.

Mondays from 3:00pm to 11:00pm and Wednesdays 6:30am to 2:00pm.

Your work may include:

• Assisting our residents with their daily living and personal needs such as eating, showering, personal hygiene, dressing, personal grooming and general mobility
• Helping with medication and simple wound dressings
• Supporting resident participation in lifestyle and social activities

To Be Successful You Will Have

• Certificate III in Individual Support or Certificate IV in Ageing Supportor equivalent
• Experience in aged or community care, or a passion to begin your career in the aged care sector
